Return Policy
At Fatcats, we are committed to ensuring a reliable and
satisfying shopping experience. We operate both as:
- An e-commerce
marketplace connecting buyers with independent third-party
sellers, and
- A retail
seller for certain products that Fatcats directly purchases and
sells.
The return policy below applies to all purchases made on our
platform.
1. Eligibility for Returns
- Products
are eligible for return only if they are damaged, defective, incorrect, or
not as described at the time of delivery.
- Products
must be unused, in their original packaging, and accompanied by a valid
invoice.
- Certain
items, including but not limited to perishable goods, personal care items,
intimate wear, and items marked as “Non-Returnable,” are not eligible for
return.
- “Deal
of the Day” products are generally not eligible for
return or refund unless they arrive damaged, defective, or
incorrect.
2. Return Request Timeline
- Return
requests must be submitted within 7 days from the date of
delivery.
- Requests
made after this period may not be accepted unless required under
applicable consumer laws.
3. Return Process
- Customers
must raise a return request through the Fatcats app, providing order
details and clear photographs showing the issue.
- Once
approved, our seller, Fatcats’s logistics team, or an authorized partner
will arrange pickup where possible. In some cases, customers may need to
self-ship the item to the provided address.
- For Fatcats’s
own inventory items, verification will be completed directly by our team.
For marketplace items, verification will be done by the respective seller.
4. Refunds
- Refunds
will be initiated after successful receipt and quality verification of the
returned product.
- Refunds
will be processed to the original payment method or as Fatcats credits,
based on the customer’s preference where applicable.
- Shipping
and handling fees are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to
an error by Fatcats or the seller.
- Some
Products from “Deal of the Day” are non-refundable except
in cases of damage, defect, or wrong item delivery. Customers should read
the description before ordering the products in “Deal of the Day”.
5. Seller and Fatcats Responsibility
- For
third-party seller items, the seller is responsible for processing returns
in line with applicable laws.
- For Fatcats’s
own products, we take full responsibility for return and refund decisions
under this policy.
Fatcats is an e-commerce platform facilitating the sale
of goods and services from independent third-party sellers to customers, and
also sells certain products directly. We do not charge any joining fee,
registration fee, or commissions for recruitment. All cashback/rewards are
given only on confirmed product purchases and after applicable taxes (including
TDS). We follow the Consumer Protection (Direct Selling) Rules, 2021 to ensure
transparency and consumer safety, while operating as an e-commerce marketplace
and not as a registered Direct Selling Entity.
